A lot of people we speak to intend doing large trips on their XR's; so we decided to make racks just for the 650R. the idea is to keep them light and practical. We have used 8mm solid bar & used 6mm flat bar mounted in five places making the mount very strong & very light weighing less than 4.5lbs. These can be made wider or longer or deeper the panniers fastened to them are just for show but will accept any panniers or luggage if you want to know more just give us a ring
